The stove-fitting tradition has been cultivated in Steyr, Upper Austria, since 1491. To this day, it is still worked according to the original production steps, even if these are now supported by the latest technologies. Each tile is individually cast, finished, glazed and fired within 26 long hours. A future built on the strong foundation of long-standing tradition.

Origin is the foundation of the future. Owned by the Sommerhuber family since 1843, the company is now run by the fifth generation. Due to the special quality and many years of craftsmanship, we were appointed Imperial and Royal (k.&.k.) Purveyor to the Court of the House of Habsburg in 1900. In 1905, we were also appointed purveyor to the court of Prince Ludwig of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.
